About Decade Energy

Founded in 2024, Decade Energy is a fast-growing start-up, currently with a team of 13employees convinced by the energy transition. Specializing in energy storage and charging stations for logistics sites, the company designs, finances, installs and operates power and connection security infrastructures based on battery storage solutions (BESS).

With the aim of decarbonizing the transport sector, Decade Energy supports road transport operators and real estate owners to electrify their depots. As part of the development of its Infrastructure division, we’re now recruiting a BESS Project Manager (F/M) to oversee a portfolio of projects.

🎯 Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the BU Infrastructure Director, you will be part of an expanding team and will be responsible for managing energy storage projects (BESS) from A to Z:

Project development

• Technical, economic and regulatory feasibility studies. (ICPE, town planning, connection)
• Secure sites and manage administrative authorizations (building permits, connection, environment, fire brigade, etc.)
• Supervision of technical studies: battery sizing, choice of technologies, grid integration
• Definition of electrical architectures and network interfaces in collaboration with in-house teams and subcontractors

Construction management

• Coordination of in-house teams and subcontractors (battery suppliers, EPC, maintenance operators)
• Adhere to deadlines, budgets and safety standards
• Supervision of commissioning and performance monitoring

Participation in development strategy

• Setting up processes
• Continuous improvement
