Overall Objective
Reporting to the VP Infrastructure, you will support in the development of our charging infrastructure strategy in different countries and oversee all the EVSE technical aspects related with strategic EVSE manufacturers selection, installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of our EVSE clients’ infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Definition & EVSE Manufacturer Selection
- Technology definition: define the required technical specifications for different use cases taking into consideration parameters such as vehicle and software interoperability, reliability, cost, integration for participation in grid services and quality.
- EVSE manufacturer sourcing: propose EVSE hardware manufacturers and validate their charging infrastructure offer based on the pre-defined technical specifications.
Sales Support & Customer Consultation
- Electrification Opportunity Study (EOS): in collaboration with sales team, you will lead the technical development and implementation of our Electrification Opportunity Study, that we offer to customers after having visited their site. This report’s objective is to bring a comprehensive and transparent electrification roadmap to our customers and give them indications of what needs to be done in order to reach their electrification targets, including preliminary hardware selection, costing and site design.
Structuration, Execution and O&M
- Structuration:
- Specify: you will define and be responsible for the writing of our technical specifications with regards to the EVSE.
- Design development & validation: review, challenge and iterate EVSE partners design proposals and documentation, ensuring technical correctness, operational fit and compliance with the norms.
- Execution: support the Project Management team during construction as part of the project team.
- Operations & Maintenance: you will support O&M with all technical aspects and a particular focus on EVSE troubleshooting to ensure all-time performance for our clients.
Key Qualifications
- EVSE expertise – at least 3-years of relevant experience justifying a deep understanding and knowledge of EV charging infrastructure market, leading suppliers, communication protocols, standards and regulations, hardware and software, etc.
- Clear, simple communicator – takes pride in simplification and can translate complex issues into understandable and actionable frameworks.
